Ullenbrauck Dates: Death date: December 24, 1965 Obituary: Edwin C. Ullenbrauck, age 69, Hatley, died Friday, December 24, 1965 at his home. He was born January 23, 1896 in the town of Elderon, the son of the late Peter and Maria (Hill) Ullenbrauck. Edwin was a World War I Veteran. On January 23, 1923 Edwin was united in marriage to Anna Luebbe in Ringle. She preceded him in death on May 4, 1943. He then married Gertrude Olson on June 7, 1948. She survives. In addition to his wife, Gertrude, survivors include three children, Marian (Earl) Burns, Ringle, Merlyn Ullenbrauck, Evanston, IL and Wayne Ullenbrauck, Wausau; one step-son, Waldon Olson, Rothschild; one step-daughter, Joyce Ann (Milton) Vitter, Wausau; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Hanke and Dora (Floyd) Owen, all of Eland; and one brother, Harry Ullenbrauck, Antigo. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Anna. Funeral services were held December 29, 1965 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. M.J. Haleen officiated.
