He was born November 18, 1917 in the town of Plover, the son of the late Charles and Etta (Arnold) Kautza. On November 18, 1939 Edwin was united in marriage to June Wincentsen in Wausau. She survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Charles Kautza, Birnamwood; two daughters, Susan (Charles) Bricko, Aniwa and Connie (Thomas) Sippl, Schofield; one brother, George, Birnamwood; one sister, Ethel (Eric) Aschbrenner, Aniwa; and five grandchildren. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Jean and one daughter, Margret Ann. Funeral services were held February 22, 1976 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. The Rev.
