He was born August 10, 1914 in Aniwa, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Heinzl) Hoffmann. On October 25, 1941 Frank was united in marriage to Dorothy Czech in Bevent. She survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include five sons, Alan (Katie) Hoffman, New London, Clair (Maria) Hoffman, Antigo, Lowell (Nancy) Hoffman, Wausau, Mark (Kathy) Hoffman, Kronenwetter and Howard (Julie) Hoffman, Athens; three daughters, Jane (Jeffrey) Binder, Wausau, Sally (Dennis) Dziamarski, Aniwa and Paula (Lance) Reimer, Birnamwood; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Giese, Green Bay; three brothers, Alfred (Irene) Hoffmann, Oshkosh, Oscar (June) Hoffmann, Manawa and David (Mary) Hoffmann, Waupaca. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rhinold Hoffmann. Funeral services were held November 13, 1997 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. The Rev.
