She was born November 15, 1897 in the town of Plover, the daughter of the late Adolph Arnold. Etta was united in marriage to Charles Kautza. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1963. Survivors include one daughter, Ethel (Eric) Aschbrenner, Aniwa; two sons, Edwin (June) Kautza and George Kautza, all of Birnamwood; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Etta was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean and a granddaughter, Margret Ann. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Aniwa.
