She was born November 29, 1903 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late August and Theresa (Ertl) Tautges. On April 24, 1923 Theresa was united in marriage to Frank C. Muhs in Aniwa. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1980. Survivors include one son, Edwin Muhs, Birnamwood; two daughters, Lucille (William) Netzinger, Wausau and Lorraine (Philip) Andreshak, Birnamwood; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Theresa was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Koplitz, four brothers, Walter, Charles, Clarence and George Tautges. Funeral services were held June 3, 1985 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Donald Laux officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
