He was born July 31, 1879 in Bemerwald, Austria, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Bie) Wolf, Sr. Edward was united in marriage to Louise Heinzl. She preceded him in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Berger, Chicago, Elizabeth Smith, Kenosha and Rose (Kingsley) Stone, Aniwa; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred (Martha) Wolf and William Wolf, both of Aniwa; and two sisters, Lucy (John) Kopp and Anna Huebl, both of Aniwa. In addition to his wife and parents, Edward was preceded in death by three brothers, including John and Godfred. Funeral services were held December 21, 1965 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa.
