She was born January 3, 1871 in Germany, the daughter of the late Valentine Ertl. Theresa was united in marriage to August Tautges. He survives. In addition to her husband, survivors include four sons, Clarence (Viola), George, Charles and Walter (Anna); two daughters, Theresa (Frank) Muhs and Anna (Fred) Koplitz; and grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Carl Tautges and a granddaughter, Inase Bostwick. Funeral services were held December 5, 1955 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa.
