He was born March 3, 1898 in Austria, the son of the late Edward and Johanna Muhs. on April 24, 1923 Frank was united in marriage to Theresa Tautges in Aniwa. She survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Edwin Muhs, Birnamwood; two daughters, Lucille (William) Netzinger, Wausau and Lorraine (Philip) Andreshak, Aniwa; one sister, Anna Tautges, Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Tautges. Funeral services were held May 22, 1980 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Donald Laux officiated.
