A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Suring, Wis. Born Feb. 12, 1920 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Louise Ecke Dobson and a graduate of Shawano High School. She married Russell F. Lasch April 29, 1939. Emma Louise and Russell owned and operated Lasch's Tavern in Suring, Wis. for 47 years. Survivors include Russell and Betty Lasch of Racine, Wis.; five daughters, Suzy and Jim McCowen of Greensboro, N.C.; Christine and Larry Stenzel of High Point, N.C.; Bunny and Jerry Heins of High Point, N.C.; Mickey Cihlar and David White of Jamestown, N.C.; Peggy and Ted Bartels of Lakewood, Wis.; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Emma Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Lasch, Sr.; one son, John; and two grandsons Russell F. Lasch and Samuel J. Cihlar.
