Voeks Bette M. Voeks, 60, of the Town of Farmington, died on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Town of Polk. Bette was born on Sept. 22, 1948 at Caswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Reinhold and Delores (Koenings) Schultz. She attended high school in Roswell, New Mexico, Fairfield, Calif., and graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora, Colo. She was married to Peter Delwiche and had a son, Troy Delwiche. She was later married Donald Voeks on Oct. 10, 1987 at St. Paul's UCC in Silver Creek. Bette worked at the Washington County Courthouse in the Human Resources Department. Bette truly loved creating pieces of art, including painting on feathers. Both Don and Bette shared a love of animals, especially their Irish Setters. They were both active members of the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association. Don and Bette loved to enjoy movies together, as well as outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. They both cherished time spent with family and friends above all, especially time with their grandchildren. Bette is survived by her loving husband, Don; her adoring parents Reinhold and Delores; her in-laws Donald Sr. and Carol Voeks, her beloved son Troy and daughter-in- law Jennifer; and her cherished grandchildren Kinsey and Nolan. She is further survived by her siblings Alan (Diane) Schultz, Marjorie (Tom) Thornton, Linda (Larry) Lane, Lisa Senner, Laura (Bill) Hickman; her brothers-in- law Mike (Anna), Jeff (Jacque), and Steve (Phyllis) Voeks; many nieces and nephews, as well as many loved relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 629 Cedar St., West Bend. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1 until 2:45 p.m. The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
