Sikorski, 91, Krakow, died unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at his home. The son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kulik) Sikorski was born May 17, 1918, in Sobieski. On Aug. 30, 1941, he married Helen Bochenek in Chicago, Ill. The couple recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. Louis farmed and also worked at Hudson Sharp (FMC) as a machinist, retiring in 1982. During his retirement years he enjoyed carving birds, ducks, bears, and Jesus signs. Survivors include his wife, Helen; three children, Elaine (Conrad) Niec, Pulaski; Betty (Norman) Wesolowski, Green Bay; and Ken (Cathy) Sikorski, Krakow; a daughter-in-law, Janice (Terry) Cayemberg, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Rose Mary) Sikorski, Sobieski; and two sisters-in-law, Florence Sikorski, Krakow; and Ann Sikorski, Chicago, Ill.; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael, in 1982; four brothers, Stanley (Josephine), Walter, Bernard (Monica) and Chester; and two sisters, Helen (John) Shutty and Josephine (Walter) Bochenek. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Parish Wake Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. The visitation continues after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Casimir Church, Krakow. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. presiding with burial in the parish cemetery. The family would like to thank NEW Rescue, St. Mary's Hospital E.R. Staff and St. Mary's Pastoral Care, especially Chaplain Marshall Conrad and Fr. Dave Koch, for their care and concern.
