(Dalum) Diane (Dalum) D. Groth, age 61, of Clintonville, passed away after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday October 4, 2009, at the Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville. Diane was born on August 23, 1948, in Clintonville. She was the daughter of Dorothea (Schoenrock) Dalum-Jannusch and the late Herbert Dalum. Diane grew up in Marion where she graduated from high school in 1966. She moved to Milwaukee where she both attended and taught at Metropolitan Business School. Diane was then employed as a bookkeeper for various companies in the Milwaukee area before moving to Marion in 1990. As her M.S. progressed, Diane moved to the Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville in May of 2000. She was a life-long member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Marion where she was baptized. Diane was a published poetry author, and was in the process of publishing a novel. She enjoyed making crafts with plastic canvass and touched many people w! ith her positive outlook on life. Survivors include her mother, Dorothea (Raymond) Jannusch, Marion; her brother, Dan (De) Dalum, Appleton; a niece: Elizabeth Case, San Antonio, TX; a great-niece, Andrea Case, San Antonio, TX; also many friends, especially: Lynn Brighum and Lisa Aschenbrenner, both of Appleton. Diane was preceded in death by her father Herbert. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Marion with the Rev. Gisele Berninghaus officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion.Friends may call at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Marion from 4 -8 p.m. on Wednesday and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Diane's family would like to thank the staff at Greentree for the wonderful care they gave Diane over the years. Condolences may be sent online at www. eberhardtstevenson.com.
