She was a regis- tered Physical Therapist who started her career at the V.A in Chicago working with WWII paraplegic veterans. She put her career on hold to raise a family but went back to work at Eastern Michigan University- Rackham school which later became the New Horizons program in Ypsilanti. Her motto was It's hard to hit a moving target and she kept very busy after retirement. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the Ladies Literary Society, U-M Waterman group,Take Stock investment club as well as two Red Hat Ladies Clubs and several bridge groups.Her calendar was rarely empty and she will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald.
