Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Peace Lutheran Church in Arroyo Grande, with Pastor George Lepper officiating. Immediately following will be the committal service at Arroyo Grande Cemetery, with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating. Evelyn was born in Caroline, Wis., and moved with her family to Shawano, Wis., at an early age. She received her education there. After high school she worked in the insurance business there, moving to California in 1942, where she worked for Robertson Insurance Agency as a secretary until her retirement. In 1976, she moved to Arroyo Grande from Santa Monica, Calif. Evelyn was an accomplished pianist, and for more than 25 years she delivered Meals on Wheels in Pismo Beach. Evelyn is survived by her lifelong friend Vivian Guenzel of Arroyo Grande and several nieces and nephews.
