She was born July 14, 1922, in Marshfield, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Brunner) Straka. On Nov. 27, 1946, she married Clarence Hoersch in Aniwa. He preceded her in death Sept. 17, 2005. Margaret was a homemaker. She also worked with the hot lunch program at the former St. Mary Catholic School. Margaret was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books and spending time with her family. Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Hoersch, Wausau; one son, Michael (Carla) Hoersch, Weston; two grandchildren, Heather Hoersch, Atlanta, and Jonathan Hoersch, Madison; one sister, Sophie Mary Fliegel, Michigan; and one brother, Martin (Joyce) Straka, Michigan. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. The Rev. Stephen Gross will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
