Rita L. Immel, 79, Kelly Lake, died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. The daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes (Szymanski) Mastey was born August 25, 1928, in the town of Maple Grove. She lived in the Pulaski area for many years and then moved to Green Bay where she married Howard Immel. Rita lived the last years of her life at her home in Kelly Lake. Survivors include four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Verna Strupp, Cecil; Evelyn (Vernon) Lubinski, Seymour; Lorraine (Lowell) Luebke, DePere; and Geraldine Kuklinski, Pulaski; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Norbert Mastey, Laney; Eugene (Violet) Mastey, Laney; Leonard (Rose Marie) Mastey, Pulaski; one brother-in-law, Clarence Rawlsky, Beaver Dam; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1982; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Florian (Agnes), Alvin, and John Mastey; two sisters, Isabelle Mastey and Florence Rawlsky; and one brother-in-law, Norbert Strupp. Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding with burial in the parish cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls for their care and kindness.
