The son of the late Amedde and Marie (LaPointe) Beaudoin was born April 21, 1933, in Escanaba, MI, where he married the former Elaine Polzin on Feb. 16, 1957, at St. Anne's Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #337, Pulaski. Ray worked in the retail grocery business all of his life. He and Elaine owned and operated Beaudoin's Red Owl Store in Pulaski from Dec. 1, 1976 through Oct. of 1980. He remained in the grocery business until his retirement. Ray loved his family and his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wit, his ready smile, and his compassionate heart. In addition to his wife, Elaine, he is further survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, and two daughters and sons-in-law, Steve Beaudoin, Sheryl & Pete Liss, Dan & Becky Beaudoin, Judy & Paul VanLanen, all of Pulaski; 11 grandchildren, Jaiven, Aubree, and Elyssa Beaudoin,Kristin, Holly, and Tim Liss, Justin and Alex Beaudoin and Kailey Prosek, Isabella and Beau VanLanen; one brother and sister-in-law, Ken (Joyce) Beaudoin, Escanaba, MI.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elayne Smith, Waukesha; Jackie (Pete) Zoellick, Brookfield; Elaine's brother and sister-in-law, Roy (Beverly) Polzin, Washington, Ind.; sister-in-law, Chris Beaudoin, Miami, FL; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jolene Beaudoin; two brothers, Bill and Bob Beaudoin; and one brother-in-law, Warren Smith. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. American Legion Service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Parish Wake Service 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Thursday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding with burial in the parish cemetery. The family would like to thank Unity Hospice, especially Carol, Fr.
