Dorothy was born April 23, 1922, in Bellevue to the late Andrew and Alvina (Renier) Hendrickson. She married Alvin Herlache on Dec. 27, 1941, in the town of Humboldt. Dorothy was dedicated to her family and raised nine children. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to country music. Dorothy was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark. She is survived by her husband of 60 year, Alvin four sons, Tom (Nancy) Herlache, Denmark Greg (Lisa) Herlache, Minneapolis, Minn. Steve Herlache and special friend, Sue Karkut, Denmark Gerard Herlache, Mattoon, Wis. two daughters, Sandy Monhead, Denmark Mary Herlache, New Mexico 13 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren one sister, Mildred Nelson, Denmark. She was preceded in death by three sons, Terry, Mike and Dennis Herlache. She was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., after 4 p.m. Wednesday until time of service. Funeral Service 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Colombo officiating. Burial in West Danish Cemetery, Denmark.
