He was born April 27, 1940, to the late William and Eva (Noel) Courchaine in Oconto Falls. Raymond served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1961. He was active in organic farming and was the author of the book, "True Organics". He had been an Advisor for Liquid Fish, Inc., Bonduel. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, Cecil. Survivors include three daughters, Nicole, Ariz. Donna, Mass. and Jeanine, Wis., two sons, David and Matthew, Ariz six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three brothers, Wilfred, (Irene) Courchaine, Green Bay Norbert (Margaret) Courchaine, Milwaukee and James (Darlene) Courchaine, Pound four sisters, Florence Truedeau, PoundLil (Ed) Konitzer, Gillett Betty (Earl) Smet, Pound and Dorothy Filo, Chilton special niece and caregiver for the past three years of his illness, Pat (Gary) Pawlak, Bonduel and special friends, Donna and Bob, Bonduel. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 at St. Martin Catholic Church, Cecil, with Rev. Leonard M. Evers officiating. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be at the church on Monday from 10 a. m. to the time of service.
