Tiesling, 77, of Denver, Colo., and Parsippany, N.J., formerly of Barrington, were held March 11 at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home in Barrington. Born June 19, 1920, in Eland, Wis., in Shawano County, the daughter of George and Florence (Owen) Thayer, she died March 7 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, N.J. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. After her marriage to Sylvester Tiesling on July 4, 1940, in Appleton, Wis., she moved to Barrington and resided there for 42 years. After the death of her husband in 1972, she moved in with her daughter, Karen, in 1982, and they moved to Fox River Grove where they lived for five years. In 1987 they moved to Denver, Colo., before moving again to Parsippany, N.J., in September of 1997. Survivors include her children, twins Joan (Danforth) Wright of Barrington and Joyce "Judy" (John) Greenwood of Palatine, and Karen Tiesling of Parsippany, N.J.; her brothers, Walter Thayer of East Wenatchee, Wash., Norman (Wanda) Thayer of Seattle, Wash., and Wilber (Evelyn) Thayer of Modesto, Calif.; her grlber (Evelyn) Thayer of Modesto, Calif.; her grandchildren, Terry and James Luebbers, Gail Davidson, Sandy and Michael and Matthew Greenwood, Bryan and Kenneth; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Raymond; her daughter, Janet Cameron; her brother, Jasper "Jack" Thayer; and her sister, Vera Krake. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 625 North Ct., Suite 280, Palatine, IL 60067-8162. Arrangements were completed by Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home.
