He was born Mar. 31, 1905, in the town of Gillett, to the late Louis and Emilie (Fergin) Dietz. On May 23, 1942, Emil married Erna Ziebart in Milwaukee. He lived life to the fullest, was a hard worker, enjoyed and loved his family and was a loving and devoted husband. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Erna; his sister and her husband, Adell and Emil Wutke, De Pere; his nieces and nephews, Dennis and Emma Jane Wutke, Kalispell, Mont.; Susan and Dr. Marlin Dunker, Weiser, Idaho; Yvonne and Fred Haworth, De Pere; his grand nieces and nephews, especially, Ted Dunker, Dayton, Ohio; Sam and Emilie Haworth, De Pere; his sisters-in-law, Athensa Yanke, Milwaukee; Ida Lockstein, Green Bay; Celia Harrmann, Bonduel; his brother-in-law, William Ziebart, Shawano; many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Dietz; a nephew, Richard Dietz; and one sister-in-law, Agena Hayden. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, Aug. 28. The funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev.
