He was born Sept. 12, 1915, in the Town of Lessor, Shawano County, the son of the late Walter and Cecelia (Kleczewski) Ciesielczyk. He attended Briarton School, graduating in 1929. On Aug. 30, 1947, he married Virginia Helen (nee) Hackl at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar. They were married for 52 years. Edward dairy farmed in Shawano and Outagamie Counties until his retirement in 1978. Edward enjoyed going to the family farm on a regular basis to help his son, Robert, until his death. In addition to farming, Edward had worked for Patz Co. for a number of years. Edward was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hofa Park, Wis., where he was a long-time member of the Holy Name and St. Joseph societies. Edward is survived by his wife, Virginia seven children, Helen (Duane) Moore, Oshkosh Jerome (Barbara) Ciesielczyk, Shawano Elizabeth (Ronald) Vieau, Green Bay Jane (Larry) Skinkis, Black Creek Robert (Barbara) Ciesielczyk, Seymour James (Renee) Ciesielczyk, Oak Creek and Lynn (Chet) Kizewski, Wisconsin Rapids 22 grandchildren six great-grandchildren and a sister, Rose Sobiesczyk, Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Raymond a brother-in-law, Martin Sobiesczyk and a granddaughter, Laura Skinkis. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hofa Park, with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Edward will be remembered for his special gift of simplicity, humor, faith and love of family.
