Garrett Shooter was born Feb. 6, 1974, the son of Jerry and Diane (Tousey) Shooter, Shawano, Wis. He attended school in Fond du Lac, Wis. He was attending UND. He was a member of the Menominee Tribe from Neopit. He is survived by a daughter, Brooke Shawano, Keshena, Wis.; sons, Rainer Miller, Gresham, Wis., and Cainen Shooter, Shawano; his mother, Neopit; sisters, Cheryl Shooter, Wakpala, S.D., Lorraine Shooter and Jerrilyn Shooter, both of Neopit; and grandparents, Floyd and Virginia Tousey, Bowler, Wis., and Frank Shooter, Wakpala. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandmother, Zeida Shooter. Services: 4 p.m. Thursday, Christus Rex Center, UND. (Swedberg, Shawano).
