Timm Mr. Dale W. Timm, 70, a Green Bay resident, passed away Wednesday evening March 24, 1999, at his home. He was born on March 18, 1929, to the late Fred and Meta (Brumm) Timm in Eland, Wis. On July 18, 1953, Dale married the former Virginia Trimble in Madison. He was a graduate of Tomahawk High School and acquired a BA and MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dale started his teaching career in Seymour. He then spent 32 years in the Green Bay School District as a Guidance Counselor and Administrator until his retirement in 1991. He was a charter member of Atonement Lutheran Church where he served as Financial Secretary for 35 years. He was a volunteer for American Association for Retired Persons, the Senior Center and Chairman of the Health Committee for the Wis. Retired Educators Association. Dale enjoyed golf, deer hunting, turkey hunting, gardening, wood carving, walking and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Virginia; four sons, Dale C. (Jaynie) Timm, Green Bay; Daniel (Amy) Timm, Green Bay; Dennis (Cyndi) Timm, Merrill; David Timm, Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren, Dana, Matthew, Sarah, Rebecca, Andrew, Stephen, Rob, Randy, Libby and Cassie; four brothers, Raymond Timm, Rodney (Mary Ann) Timm, Fred (Bernadine) Timm and Glenn (Virginia) Timm, all of Tomahawk; four sisters, Hazel (Leroy) Currier, Phoenix, Ariz; Sally Roehrborn, Grafton; Rose (Raliegh) Johnston, Merrill; and Bonnie (Edwin) Daigle, Tomahawk; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Wurl. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2132 Deckner Ave., from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral. Funeral Service 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Roald Harswick officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk. n lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Atonement Lutheran Church or Wisconsin Retired Educators Foundation.
