Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 28, 1931, in Le Roy, Ill., the son of Francis Lee and Eunice Pauline Reeder Robertson. He married Charlotte Gregory in Bloomington, Ill., on Sept. 12, 1953. Belvidere resident for 36 years. Served as an Illinois State Police officer for 31 years. United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Bull Shoals (Ark.) Presbyterian Church, Retired State Police Association of Illinois Fraternal Order of Police, American Legion (33 years) and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid woodworker, fisherman and a member of Bull Shoals Fishing Club. Survivors include wife, Charlotte of Lakeview son, Michael (Deborah) Robertson daughter, Leslie Robertson grandson, Mark Wendt, and granddaughter, Ashley Wendt, all of Belvidere cousins, George (Donnie) Moore of Nielsville and Donald (Millie) Moore of Aniwa, Wis. in-l! aws, Barbara and Bill Johnson of Bloomington, Darlene and Lawrence Landstrom of Lady Lake, Fla., Ronald and Marlene Gregory of Bloomington and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents. Services at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in Belvidere Funeral Home, 203 Logan Ave., with the Rev. William Westlund of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, in the funeral home. The Illinois State Police will serve as honorary pallbearers.
