Wright Myrtle V. Wright, 88, Bradenton, died Oct. 6, 2005. She was born July 15, 1917, in Gresham, Wis., and came to Manatee County in 1962 from Shawano, Wis. She owned Old Hickory Restaurant from 1967 until she retired in 1982. She was a Protestant. Survivors include daughters Bonnie Rosenow and Mary Jo Schoenhofen, both of Shawano; sons Joseph C. of Bradenton and Scott E. of Sarasota; a sister-in-law, Hazel Poeschl of Shawano; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, with services to follow, at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel.
