Ronald C. Boldt, 53, Resort Rd., Shawano, Wis., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, following a long battle with diabetes. He was born June 25, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Edward and Alice (Eastom) Boldt. Ron married Peggy Rank Nov. 19, 1977, in Menominee, Mich. The couple lived in the Cecil area all of their married life. Ron enjoyed his family and watching his kid's ball games. He also enjoyed fishing and was a stock car racing fan. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pulcifer, Wis. Survivors include his wife, Peggy two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason (Melissa) Boldt, Bonduel Brandon Boldt, at home grandson, Jordan Boldt, Bonduel, who was his Grandpas's pride and joy also his parents, Edward and Alice Boldt, Fort Wayne, Ind. one brother, Gary (Lois) Boldt, Fort Wayne, Ind. four sisters, Diana (Jim) Bowers, Bev Falconer, Fort Wayne, Ind. Carol Englert, Angola, Ind. and Debbie Boldt, Broomfield, Colo. brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia (Marvin) Riegert, Dennis (Sally) Rank, Shawano Ronald (Shirley) Rank, Elwyn (Jane) Rank, Cecil and Arvin (Dottie) Rank, Neenah. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andrew and Helen Rank. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pulcifer, with the Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to the time of service. The family would like to thank all the medical staff, family and friends for all the help with Ron over the years during his battle with diabetes.
