He was born September 13, 1914 in the Township of Nepeuskun, the son of Burt & Lois Walworth Brewer. He was a 1932 graduate of Berlin High School. James was a farmer and a beekeeper. He worked at Allen (later Gateway) Lumber Co. in Berlin, and at Berlin Chapman Co. He is survived by a son: Dan (Maria) Brewer of Berlin, and a daughter, Jane Webster of Gresham, WI, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law; Maxine Brewer of Berlin, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Ruth Amy Brewer, brother; Lawrence Brewer, and sister; Barbara Higgins. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin, the Rev. Robert Blackburn officiating. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery in Winnebago County. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral chapel on Friday from 11 a.m. *ntil the time of services. Barbola Funeral Chapel 282 E.
