Schultz Reuben C. Schultz, age 85, Bowler, died Tuesday, July 07, 2009 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Antigo. He was born on Oct. 8, 1923 in Lyndhurst, Wis., the son of the late Walter and Erna (Schmidt) Schultz. On Oct. 23, 1948 he was united in marriage to Doris Gustafson in Bowler. She survives. Reuben graduated from Bowler High School in 1941 and then served in the U.S. Army. He then worked in Milwaukee as a Machine Operator and Cement Finisher. After retirement, Reuben and Doris moved back to Bowler in 1987. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife, Doris; three children, Ricky (Jennifer W. Eggers) Schultz, Cleveland, Wis., Joanne (Mark) Nordstrum, Richfield, Wis., and Kevin (Carine) Schultz, Waukesha; four grandchildren, Erik Nordstrum, Michael Nordstrum, David Schultz and Matthew Schultz; one step-granddaughter, Caleigh Wilson; one step-great-granddaughter, Emma Bee Wilson; two brothers, Clarence (Lois) Schultz, Mattoon and Walter (Bernette) Schultz, Bowler and one sister-in-law, Cora Schultz, Gillett. In addition to his parents, Reuben was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Schultz. The Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler. The Rev. Mike Schram will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, town of Almon, Shawano County. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
