Krog of Hampshire A memorial service for Christine A. Krog, 52, will be held at 7 p.m. today, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger Pollock officiating. Born Oct. 31, 1947, in Elgin, the daughter of Clarence F. and Iola (nee Pettit) Zimmerman, she died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, in Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Krog had been employed as a floral designer for Jewel-Osco, a master gardener with the State of Illinois-Kane County Extension and a member of Good Shepherd Church of Elgin. She is survived by her husband, Larry A. Krog, whom she married March 16, 1968; sons, Rodney (Robin) Krog of Huntley and Mark Krog of Hampshire; daughter, Annette Krog of Hampshire; granddaughter, Samantha Krog of Hampshire; brothers, David Zimmerman of Gresham, Wis. and James (Carna) Zimmerman of Shawano, Wis.; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. until the time of the services at 7 p.m. today, at the church. Memorials may be made to Illinois Master Gardeners-Kane County Extension, 535 Randall Road, St. Charles, IL 60174. Arrangements were made by Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Home, Elgin.
