(Widow of Alvin) - Muskegon - Mrs. Carrie E. Mosher, age 86, died Monday evening, May 1, 2006, at the home of her daughter, Karolin. She was born November 26, 1919 in Mattoon, WI to Harry and Margie (Pollock) Amerson; and has resided in the Muskegon area since the early 1980's. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement in 1980, Mrs. Mosher had been an auditor for IRS. On June 28, 1947, she married Alvin G. Mosher and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1993. SURVIVORS include her daughter and son-in-law, Karolin and Tim Brondyk of Twin Lake; 1 granddaughter, Shannon (Scott) Backer; 4 sisters, Bertha Serio of Buffalo Grove, IL, Ruth Tinsman of Glen Flora, WI, Rachel Lohonen of Minneapolis, MN and Lois Kolenbrander of Newaygo. She was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Leah Jane, and brothers Lysle, Stephen, Harley and Paul. SERVICES will be 1 PM Friday at Lakeside Baptist Church (2250 Denmark) with Pastor Don Benedict officiating. Burial will be i! n Laketon Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with Carrie's family will be 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Lakeside Baptist Church, River of Life Fellowship or Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana will be appreciated.
