Ciaccio, 79 (Rockford) JOSEPHINE M. CIACCIO, 79 LOVING WIFE, MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER ROCKFORD - Josephine M. Ciaccio, 79, of Rock-ford died at 11:53 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. She was born Feb. 27, 1929, the daughter of Sam and Rose Marchione in Rockford, where she resided her entire life. She married Tom Ciaccio on April 29, 1950. She was a member of American Lombardi Women's Auxiliary, Verdi Club, and a former member of St. Bridget choir. Jo enjoyed going on the casino tours with her husband, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Holtan and the staff at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughters, Diane Lundquist and Patti (Jeff) Reuter, all of Rockford; son, Tom Jr. (Amy) Ciaccio of Aniwa, Wis.; grandchildren, Bob Hoch-stein, Greg Lundquist, Kristi (Jermaine) Ransom and Lisa Lundquist; great-grandson, Jermaine Jr.; brothers, S! am (Mary) Marchione and Joe (Sandy) Marchione; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by parents. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, in St. Anthony Church, with Franciscan Friars officiating. Interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, in Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home, with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Arrangements by Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 707 Marchesano Drive.
