Thomas LEXINGTON - Clifton T. Thomas, 75, of Aniwa, Wis., a native of Bloomington, formerly of the Lexington area, died Nov. 14, 2001, at Care and Hospice Services, Wausau, Wis. Memorial services have been held. Military rites were conducted by the American Legion. Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood, Wis. was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thomas was born Aug. 12, 1926, a son of Lee and Muriel Burtrum Thomas. He married Gladys Hecker on July 2, 1997 in Birnamwood. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Sheila Asbury and Debra Thomas, both of Wausau, Wis.; and Cheryl Thomas, Mosinee, Wis.; two sons, Frank Thomas, Wausau, Wis.; and Gary (Karen) Thomas, Aniwa, Wis.; a brother, Gene (Ann) Thomas, Aniwa, Wis.; a sister, Rebecca Brady, Bloomington; seven grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepdaughter, two brothers and a sister.
