August F. Klosterman, 95, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Heartland of Shawano, Shawano, Wis. He was born April 2, 1904, in Bonduel, to Julius and Johanna Hoppe Klosterman. He married Frieda E. Priem on Sept. 24, 1930, at St. John Lutheran Church, Lily, Wis. She preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 1997. He formerly lived on Route 2, Bonduel, Wis., where he operated a farm and was a carpenter. He was a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel, Wis. and served on the Lutheran School Board of Education. He was treasurer for Walter Klosterman Cheese Factory for many years. Surviving are five sons, Marvin Klosterman and wife, Althea, Bonduel, Wis.; Wallace Klosterman, Avon, Ohio; Norman Klosterman and wife, Barbara, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Dennis Klosterman, Bonduel, Wis.; and Randall Klosterman and wife, Gloria, De Pere, Wis.; one brother, Henry Klosterman and wife, Eleanor, Bonduel, Wis.; one sister, Dora Luepke, Appleton, Wis.; 15 grandchildren, Andrea Miller and husband, Michael, Green Bay, Wis.; Mark Klosterman and wife, Linda, Freedom, Wis.; Amy Mickel and husband, Hugh, West Springfield, Mass.; Debra Klosterman, Lakewood, Ohio; Michael Klosterman and wife, Dianne, Mogadore, Ohio; Tim Klosterman and wife, Lee, Avon Lake, Ohio; Dawn Fields, League City, Texas; Kristen Klosterman, Jupiter, Fla.; Robin Lavey and husband, Michael, Hacienda Heights, Calif.; Dean Klosterman and wife, Angela, Clarksville, Tenn.; Neil Klosterman, Milwaukee, Wis.; Jill Klosterman, Chicago, Ill.; Crystal, Autumn and Cole Klosterman, De Pere, Wis.; 15 great-grandchil! dren; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Klosterman, Bonduel; Bernice Priem, Calif.; and five step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Oscar and Alfred Klosterman; and three sisters, Emma Gehm, Minnie Luepke and Margaret Boerst. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. TODAY at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel, with the Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul Church Cemetery. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of services today, at the church. A memorial donation may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel, Wis.
