He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was Lutheran. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4337, Inverness. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Phisaer, Gresham, Wis.; his father, Vernon, Inverness; his mother, Gertrude Cavagnetto, Inverness; two brothers, Doyle, Floral City, and LaVerne, Waldorf, Md.; and a sister, Ione Wright, Phoenix.
