Kurowski Esther L. Kurowski, 94, Bonduel, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 10, 1999 at Shawano. She was born Jan. 25, 1905 in The Town of Hartland to the late Paul and Ida (Tesch) Boettcher. Esther married Joseph J. Kurowski, Oct. 23, 1926, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel. The couple farmed in the Town of Hartland from 1926 to 1962. Joseph passed away Aug. 7, 1962. Esther moved to Bonduel and worked at the pickle factory for a short time. She was always available to help her children. Esther was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rosetta and Joseph V. Stern, Shawano; six grandchildren, Cheryl (Joe) Peterson, Hartford; Audrey (Robert) Greenwood, Fond Du Lac; Gene (Rosemary) Bohm, Bonduel; Linda (John) Owen, Shawano; Charles (Kelly) Bohm, Bonduel and Pamela (Steve ) Kulas, Appleton; 11 great-grandchildren, Sheri Peterson, Tina (Chad) Mach, Barbara, Deborah and Paul Greenwood; Dennis (Sarah) Bohm, David Bohm, Gregg (Becky) Owen, Scott Owen, and Jessica and Cory Bohm; one great-great-grandson, Bradley Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty (Mrs. Eugene) Bohm; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral service will be Saturday, Mar. 13, 1999, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel with the Rev. Leonard Wildauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Friday 4 p.m to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
