Janiak Elizabeth P. Janiak, 49, died March 2, 2007, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita. She was born Aug. 9, 1957, in Chicago, the daughter of Franklin and Jacqueline Skelnik Raner. She attended Crown High School, Carpentersville, Ill. A resident of Hutchinson since 2006, having lived in Little Falls, Minn., she was a homemaker. On Aug. 10, 2002, she married Dale Allen Janiak in Minnesota. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, James, Illinois; two daughters, Tanya Allen, Kirkland, Ill., and Crystal Raner, Illinois; three stepsons, Isaiah, Dale, Jr., and Aaron, all of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; four brothers, Franklin Jr., Keshena, Wis., Timothy, Milwaukee, Nathan, Kansas City, Kan. and Matthew, Little Falls, Minn.; three sisters, Rebecca Doxtater, Bowler, Wis., Prescilla Raner, Kansas City, Kan. and Ruth Raner, Hutchinson; a granddaughter, Samantha Davis; 13 nieces; and 11 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Wayne Pittman presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the Elizabeth Janiak Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
