He was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Green Bay, the son of Vilas and Pauline (Cartony) Holland. Mr. Holland graduated from Wentworth Military Academy and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Faye M. McKeefry in Green Bay on Jan. 23, 1962. Mr. Holland was a conductor for the Milwaukee Railroad for 26 years and came to the Wausaukee/Amberg area to retire in 1984. He enjoyed outdoor activities and drinking his coffee while watching the Pike River. He is survived by his wife, Faye Holland, Amberg, Wis.; two sons, Tony (Michelle), Watersmeet, Mich.; Tom, Amberg; one daughter, Teri Holland (fiance, Steve Mattison), Amberg, Wis.; and his sister, Barb (Bill) Mayville, Briarton, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at Messar Funeral Home in Wausaukee on Thursday, May 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Fr.
