Dorothy A. Uelman, 85, of Bonduel, died Thursday, August 24, 2000. She was born June 7, 1915, in the Town of Wescott to the late Bill and Erma (Baldock) Krause. Dorothy grew up in the Shawano area. She married Klerus "Nick" Uelman Aug. 10, 1935 in Shawano. The couple owned and operated bars in Angelica and Bonduel. They moved to Bonduel in 1952. Nick preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1992. Dorothy liked African Violets and gardening. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy C. Leonard of Milwaukee and a son, Wayne K. Uelman of Green Bay Five grandchildren, Cindy, Jody, Mike, Jeff and Tim Seven Grandchildren one son-in-law, Bob Treptow of Athelstane a sister, Rachel (Bernie) Karcz, Shawano and three brothers, Clifford Krause, Victor (Audrey) Krause and Arnie (Annabelle) Krause, all of Shawano. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty (Treptow), a son-in-law, Dennis Leonard, two brothers, one sister and one half brother. Funeral service will be Monday, August, 28, 2000, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Luthern Church, Bonduel, with Rev. Leonard Wildauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. to the time of the service. Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel is in charge of arrangements.
