Lorraine B. Nelson, 78, Howard, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000. The former Lorraine Herm was born Jan. 5, 1922 in Bonduel to the late John and Martha (Prahl) Herm. She had worked at the Woodside Lutheran Home for over 20 years until recently retiring. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and fishing with her sons she enjoyed bingo, football and baseball numbers, and playing cards. Survivors include her children: Bill (Lisa) Bergner, Green Valley Jim Bergner and special friend Tina Wenninger, Green Bay Jean O'Neil and special friend Tracy Murray, Green Bay Tina (Kurt) Keckhaver, Green Bay seven grandchildren: Jason and Kyle Bergner, Benjamin and Brad Bergner, Kailey O'Neil, Tyler Joachim and Emily Keckhaver one sister Cornelia Davis, Green Valley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Bergner her second husband, Micael Nelson her parents three brothers: Elder, Elmer and Orville Herm one sister Sophie Bartels. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cecil, Wis. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Steven D. Hyvonen officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Andrew J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's name at the funeral home.
