Stogner, of Aniwa, 47, died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandma, sister and aunt, loved by many family and friends. She will be missed terribly, but never lost. She was born July 4, 1958, in Wausau, the daughter of Donald and Mildred (Wagner) Moore. When she was 22, she was united in marriage to her former husband, Homer "Sonny" Stogner in San Angelo, Texas. Janice was a wonderful person, she never gave up and fought until the end. She loved her family and stayed strong for them, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Janice is survived by two daughters, Danielle D. Stogner, Aniwa and Holly A. Stogner, Antigo; one granddaughter, Alyssa Mae; one grandson, Matthew B.; two brothers, Jon (Victoria) Moore, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Samuel Moore, Waupaca; one sister, E. Susan (Joe) Moyer, Waupaca; her former husband, Sonny Stogner, nieces, nephews, cousins and a close friend, Wally Jurek, Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Hogarty Presbyterian Church. Internment will be in Riverside Cemetery, town of Harrison, Marathon County. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
