She was born Nov. 18, 1923, in the Town of Seymour, daughter of the late Chris and Cora (Sachs) Colling. She attended school in Shawano County. On June 5, 1943, she was united in marriage to Harvey A. Zuleger. The couple lived and farmed at their present address all of their married life. She was a life-long member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, belonging to the Concordia Society, Lutheran Women of the Church (WLCA) and Search Bible Class and had served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Gertie was a former 4-H leader and volunteer at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was currently a Good Shepherd Volunteer, president of the Happy Homemakers Club and belonged to the Senior Citizen's Bowling League and a birthday club. She is survived by her husband, Harvey; two children, John and Mary, Appleton; three brothers, Robert Colling, Oconto Falls; Franklin (Norma) Colling, De Pere; Nicholas Colling, De Pere; one sister, Mildred (Milton) Bohm, Bonduel; a sister-in-law, Alice Colling; two brothers-in-law, Fred Treptow, Shawano; and Orville Sievert, Seymour; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leonard; and four sisters, Esther, Alice, Theresa and Frances. Friends may call at MuehlBoettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
