He was born on July 2, 1922 in Cloquet to Douglas and Eleanor (Fiske) Hobbs. Al retired from Potlatch after 40 years. He loved golfing. Al is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen in 1975 and his brother Guy. Al is survived by his children Robert (June) of Gresham, WI., and Thomas (Joanne) of Cloquet, grandchildren Shawn, Cory, Dana, Anthony Scott, John and Robert, 7 great grandchildren, brothers Roy (Ada) of Hibbing and Charles of Minneapolis, many nieces and nephews. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS: 12:30 until the 1 p.m. Memorial Service Saturday March 17, 2007 in Handevidt Funeral Home 900 Washington Avenue, Cloquet, MN. Following the service there will be a lunch at the Big Lake Golf Clubhouse. Private family interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
