Bossell Sr., 82 (Loves Park) JOHN P. BOSSELL SR., 82 LOVES PARK - John P. Bossell Sr., 82, of Loves Park died 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, in Springwood Health Center. Born Nov. 13, 1923, in Mattoon, Wis., the son of Elon and Lena (Pawlik) Bossell. Married Lucille Collins in Rockford on Sept. 14, 1946. Formerly employed by Bob's Hardware and A & E Tool and Gauge Co. Veteran and POW during World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Lucille; daughters, Linda (Don) Parker of Machesney Park and Lorilee Albertson of Loves Park; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son, John Jr. on Jan. 24, 1996; and daughter, Bonnie Brasher on Dec. 15, 2004. Private services are planned. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
