Richard D. Heagle, 55, 2017 Calumet Drive, New Holstein, died on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on March 27, 1949, in Green Bay, son of Donald and late Marie (DeCoteau) Heagle. He recently married Deborah Barnett on Aug. 10, 2004, in Appleton. Richard was a self-employed truck driver through GreenTree. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors, and traveling through every state in the continental United States. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, New Holstein; his father, Donald; five children, Scott Heagle, Appleton; Gregory Heagle and special friend, Cindy Flaherty, Chilton; Michelle Goodacre, Black Creek; Jeremy "Butch" (Bobbie) Heagle, Black Creek; Adam "Bean" Heagle and special friend, Vanessa, New Holstein; eight grandchildren, Eric Flaherty, Damon Heagle, Cole Flaherty, Zachary Goodacre, Gail Goodacre, Maria Leon, Eddie Perez, and Hannah Martin; two brothers, Warren "Buzz" (Joan) Heagle, Seymour; and Tom (Sarah) Heagle, Briarton; and his beloved dogs, Bullet and Holly. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Wieting Family Funeral Home, 1212 Teckla Place, in Kiel. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home from noon until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Richard D. Heagle.
