Muriel was born March 31, 1933, to the late Otto and Ethel (Jester) Kalinke, in the town of Easton. She married Delane Wincentsen on June 7, 1958, in the town of Easton. He preceded her in death in March 1985. Muriel was a long-time member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Easton. She formerly served as church secretary and with the Ladies Aids. She was a member of the Edgewood Mother's Club. She loved spending time up at the family cabin in Tomahawk. Muriel loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and kept busy with them all. She enjoyed cooking and watching NASCAR. She had the opportunity to take in the Daytona 500 and Brickyard races. She also loved animals, especially her own pets. She was a wonderful and loving mother to five daughters, Cheryl Wenzel, Wausau, Cathleen (Ron) Kluck, Tomahawk, Caryn (Brian) Hirsch, Wausau, Carla (Kip) Noskowiak, Aniwa, and Cynthia (John) Matsche, Birnamwood; a loving grandma to 18 grandchildren, Amanda, Renee, and Stephanie Wenzel, Tara (Brian Habeck), Jessica (Cori Quinette) and Jason Kluck, Brandon, Dustin and Cory Hirsch, Joshua and Tyler Swanson, Andrea (Andy) Long, and Tori Noskowiak, Michael, Mathew, Mitchell, Marcus and Melissa Matsche; four great-grandchildren, Alex Kluck, Marlie Long, Keashon and Tyrique Quinette;a sister, Evelyn Baumann, Wausau; a mother-in-law, Beatrice Wincentsen, Wausau; a special friend, Ericka Foth; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Easton. The Rev. David Faulkner will officiate. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today, Aug. 19, 2005, at the Helke Funeral Home in Wausau and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
