He was born in Oshkosh, Wis., and came here in 1980 from Blountville, Tenn. He worked as a technical writer and editor for Univac in Bristol, Tenn., and for Sperry Microwave, Clearwater, and Paradyne, Largo. He was an Army veteran and a member of Spring Hill Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 7, Clearwater. Survivors include his wife, Grace; a son, Thomas, New Hartford, N.Y.; two daughters, Janet Donovan, Winter Springs, and Joan Stabrawa, Hainesville, Ill.; a sister, Virginia Zernicke, Bonduel, Wis.; and eight grandchildren.
