The daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Smith) Miller was born Sept. 30, 1932, in Pulaski. On Nov. 12, 1949, she married Florian "Lefty" Karcz in Pulaski. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Florence loved to cook and made excellent desserts. Her house was always immaculate. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Barb and Jack Rusch, Shawano; Carol and Kevin Van DeYacht, Oneida; one son, Ken Karcz, Cecil; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Marcella Drzewiecki, Pulaski; Bertha Wesolowski, Pulaski; sisters-in-law, Virginia, Jean, Eleanor and Adeline Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 16, 2004, five brothers, John, Harry, Ed, Norb, and Ray Miller, one brother-in-law, Leonard Wesolowski. Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski, after 10 a.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, Fr. Brendan Wroblewski, O.F.M., presiding with burial in the parish cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be expressed at www.marnochafuneralhome.com.
