He was born Sept. 10, 1951, in Tigerton, Wis., and came to Port Charlotte two years ago from Antigo, Wis. He was an educational consultant, formerly with North Central Technical College of Wausau, Wis. A Navy veteran, he served in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Valarie A.; a son, Corey P. of Antigo; four sisters, Connie Plish of Land O'Lakes, Wis., Virginia Zahn of Mattoon, Wis., Nancy Bosin of Deerfield, Wis., and Helen Vacha of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Roger of Gresham, Ore.; his mother, LaVerne of Fort Worth; and a grandson. Private services and burial will be in Wisconsin. Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Charlotte Chapel, is in charge.
