Mrs. Habeck died Dec. 5 in Wisconsin at age 78. She was born May 18, 1916, in Athens. Her maiden name was Krueger. She married Edwin Habeck Nov. 8, 1940. The couple lived in Oregon City from 1952 to 1974. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oregon City. Her husband died March 23, 1992. Survivors include her brothers, Orville Krueger of Wausau, Wis., Donald Krueger and Erlyn Krueger, both of Oregon City; sisters, Lucile Aderhold of Bonduel, Wis., Doris Habeck of Athens, Esther Nehrbass and Elvera Jantsch, both of Athens, and Geraldine Andersen of Hingham, Wis.
